On a gentle elevation overlooking the Douro, between the curves and counter-curves of this breathtaking river, it is located the Quinta de Guimarães.
This is an agricultural property of 40 hectares, 25 of which dedicated to the production of ‘Vinho Verde’. The other part of the farm is dedicated to the romantic forests of oaks and cork oaks. At the center of the property, it is located the 18th century Manor House with the adjacent chapel, the winery and the threshing floor.
